What are the different form styles I can choose from?

A single page means that all questions will be shown on a single page, regardless of how the page setup has been done. Standard which means that questions will be shown with the settings that the user has set up according to their preferences.

Can I record the geo location where the form was submitted?

Yes, the geo location of a respondent will be saved along with their response, when the geo-location feature was activated on the form setup by simply ticking the “Add geolocation on complete” in the form setup stage. When the response on the form is submitted, the relevant coordinates will be saved, given that the location setting of the mobile device is switched on, and that the mobile device is connected to the internet.

Does Reach cater for Departmental or Geographical setups?

Yes, Reach has comprehensive tagging functionality that allows users to define and implement their own company structure and thereby use their own terms and naming conventions. Users can customize the various Reach data elements in a structure that works for them.

What are the tags and how can they be used?

Tags are a way to organise your data without the need for a comprehensive admin setup, for instance, Rights and roles, Geographical setup, Organisational setup, Functionality and many more.


Reach tags are used in two differentiated categories:


System tags- System tags control what data is displayed to the user, only users with the same system tag will be able to view the data, and users without the system tag will not be able to view the data.


Normal tags- Normal tags assist in pre-filter any data displayed to the user.

Can you add instructions for respondents to assist in the completion of forms?

Yes, Reach has a variety of ways to add instructions or directives to respondents, this can be done on form level, page level or question level. This functionality can also be paired with data input standards that will ensure 100% accurate data input from respondents.

Can you control the status of a form?

Yes, any form that you no longer need, or do not want users to access, can simply be archived. This can easily be reversed, should the form become relevant again. All forms that live in an archived state are 100% secure in a vault for your peace of mind.

Do you have to be user on Reach to fill in forms?

No, Reach allows you to schedule forms for people that do not have user profiles. Just keep in mind that other system functionality will not be available to external users. Getting responses from respondents outside of the Reach eco system is completely possible, as well as verifying the respondents with custom rules you can set-up. This will not be necessary if the forms need to be submitted anonymously.

How does Reach distribute forms?

By using the scheduler, you can schedule any published form for users registered on Reach or invite external users via email or an anonymous link, so that they can fill in their responses or answer a questionnaire.


By using the global search functionality Reach users can search for any published form that matches the tags on their profile, to easily do their response or answer a questionnaire.

Can you combine respondents in a group to assist in easy scheduling?

Yes, you can easily create your groups by adding the relevant tag to the users. The Scheduler includes an “assign by tag” function, that will automatically schedule the form for all users that has the same tag.

Can you add clickable URLs to a form?

Yes, you can easily add a URL to a form from; the drag and drop form builder; and during completion the respondent can click on the link to navigate to the applicable website.

Can you add custom emoticons or other icons as question options?

Yes, you can easily personalize your forms by adding emoticons or any other image file to questions or as options to select as answers. This feature facilitates quick and accurate responses every time.

Can you link forms together?

Yes, you can nominate a form to be either displayed directly upon submission, or allow the respondent to schedule the form for a later time. All of this without the need for complicated steps.

Can you show or hide questions?

Yes, you can mark questions as “invisible”. These questions will not be displayed to respondents during completion. These questions can also be tag specific so that one form can display different questions according to the respondents’ tags on their profile. This takes away the need for creating and distributing multiple forms.

Can you export answers?

Yes, questions with “text” type answers can be easily exported per version in either csv or excel format. This functionality makes data analysis quick and effective.

Can I setup my own content for the various emails that are sent via the Scheduler?

Yes, Reach has default subjects and content for the various email notifications. They can all be customized per form to suit your specific requirements.

Can I indicate that a form needs to be reviewed upon submission?

Yes, you can nominate a user to receive any submissions on a particular form. These submissions can then either be approved or rejected for correction and resubmission by the respondent. The reviewer will receive an in-app notification whenever a new submission has been done.

Can I draw or add text to the images I upload to a form?

Yes, Reach allows respondents to add text to an image, add predefined shapes to an image, like a circle, arrow and many more. Reach also enables users to draw free hand shapes on images in form submissions.
